Kamie McConnell – Executive Director
While new to this position, Kamie has quickly learned the importance of meaningful work. The clients at the Recovery House are her continued source of motivation to reach out to the community for support. She is excited to be moving LIFE Recovery to include a Second Stage House, which will enhance the LIFE Recovery ministry offering women further support to heal from an addictive lifestyle.
Karen Robertson – Program Manager & Certified Addictions Counselor II
Karen enjoys her every day role of overseeing LIFE Recovery operations as well facilitating group discussions and conducting one-to-one counseling sessions. With 25 years of related experience and personal recovery, Karen possesses a deep passion for living a spirit-filled life and conveying this message of hope and meaning to all women who come through the doors of LIFE Recovery.
Gisele Davidson – Certified Addictions Couselor
Gisele began as a volunteer in 2001 and immediately knew that this was where her heart was. She has a strong passion to help women overcome the challenges associated with their addictions and thrives on seeing the amazing transformation that God carries out in courageous women at LIFE Recovery.
Shelley Langelaar – Certified Addictions Counselor & Support Care Worker
Shelley has been with LIFE Recovery for a year and a half. Her decision to work at LIFE Recovery stems from the inspiration of witnessing miracles happen daily. Being part of a team focused on helping women heal and discover freedom in the destiny that God has for them is such a blessing for Shelley.
Jenny van Tol – Support Staff
Jenny was a client at LIFE Recovery just over four years ago and has been working as support staff in the home for the past three years. Witnessing God’s transforming and renewing power in the lives of the women at LIFE Recovery is one of the most significant blessings in her life. She is truly grateful to see women overcome their addictions and pursue the person that God created them to be.
Monique Ellis – Support Staff
Monique is a new member to the LIFE Recovery team. Her desire to work with women and interest in pursuing a career in addictions recovery and treatment is what brought Monique to LIFE Recovery. In her first few months at LIFE, she has really enjoyed being part of something with such a great cause.
Susan Couperus – Administrator
Susan has been with LIFE Recovery since September 2008. She loves to witness the transforming power of Jesus’ love and forgiveness in the lives of those who go through the LIFE Recovery Program and finds it truly a blessing for both clients and staff.
